Birthday Galore is still on, this time with a new brand – on the blog at least. :)
I’ve been longing to try Barry M polishes for a looooong time now, mostly since the Gelly Hi-Shine polishes came out. I saw a lot of swatches of them and I loved every single color. I knew that if I’ll have the chance to try a Barry M polish, that would definitively be one of them. So when I saw this gorgeous blue in Nailland’s stock-room and I realized that I’ll get it, I almost went crazy from joy. :)
I have never seen anything more bright than Blue Grape. You know how much I love blue polishes, so you understand why I am completely defensless with it. It has such a vivid color in the bottle, I was afraid that it won’t be like this on the nails. But of course it is! This polish turns H&M Blue My Mind into a boring pastel. (Sorry, Blue My Mind, I still love you too though. :/)
I love the bottle a lot, but I have to mention that the brush is narrow, which is okay for me, but I know that some of you don’t like it, so it’s better if you know it. The consistency of the polish is very interesting. It’s quite thin, but nor runny and it’s pigmented. VERY pigmented. Even one thicker coat can be enough, but I used two, since I always apply two coats. :)
The most important thing is that there’s no top coat on it. Nothing. Nada. It’s this shiny and even and beautiful on its own. *_* This is what Gelly Hi-Shine means.
I love it. Love love love it. I need each and every single shade of these. If I remember correctly, then there’s 18 shades available, so I’ll only have to get 12. And yeah, that means that I already have 6 of them. But it’s not a lot, actually it’s very very few. :)
I can’t wait to try the other ones too, I hope they will be this fantastic too. :)
