H&M – Moonlight

H&M - Moonlight

I could start with the usual origin-story, where I tell you how, when and why I bought this polish, but instead of that, just look at this picture:

H&M - Moonlight

I think it explains everything. ^^ It’s when you find something, take it off of the shelf, stare at it with with eyes opened wide and open-mouthed, then you rush to the cash desk.

Blue, green, turqoise and purple microflecks in a dark base. *_* They put everything in this polish I’m mad about this time of the year. I couldn’t imagine anything more beautiful. <3 Though I'm sorry that the purple duochrome effect disappears as soon as you apply it to the nails.

The first coat isn’t very convincing, but the second one makes everything right. The brush is quite wide, just perfect for my nails, so it was very easy to use it. However it dries a little slowly, even with a top coat. I don’t know how it’s possible, but I felt that I had to mention it.

And – as you can see – it shrinks a little too. It’s not chipping or anything, because I took the pictures right after it was dry, so maybe it’s the same like it was with the Claire’s polish the last time, just not so obvious.

While I was applying it, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that I already have something similar. First I thought of Flormar Pretty P29, but that one is more green and less dark. So I don’t know.

To sum it up: the duochrome disappears, the polish dries slowly and it shrinks. However I think that Moonlight is worth buying, because it’s sooooooooo gorgeous! *_* I love that H&M creates time to time these speacial shades, I wish they had nail polish in every store of theirs.
