Lately I realized that I like the non-holo AE polishes too. To my misfortune.
Love Is Enough slipped my notice for a long time, but if someone spends as much time at Nailland as I do, then she a) becomes bankrupt, b) becomes suspicious to security c) eventually finds beauty in EVERY SINGLE nail polish.
A-England homepage says that it’s an olive green polish with gold shimmer, but oh boy, it so much more. I swear I spotted some black and even silver in it. It’s gorgeous! It’s almost like a duochrome. If I move my hands and the light hits it differently, then the polish changes its colour.
But, breaking news, it’s not a one coater – even though it’s very dark! I had to apply 2 coats to have an opaque and even finish. But after the two coats, it became amazing. *_*
Maybe you can see here all the colours I mentioned:
This colour-changing effect gave me the idea to do some nail art, so I grabbed my sponge and a black polish and darkened the ends of the nails.
And I really reeeeeally like how it looks! *_* I needed a lot of time to finish it, because I’m not very experienced with this sponge-trick, but I enjoyed it so much! I’m even considering doing it more frequently.
