China Glaze – Bat My Eyes

China Glaze - Bat My Eyes

The 2013 Halloween China Glaze collection was a big hit for me, I loved that they were brave enough to bring some new colours in the collection, not just the usual oranges and blacks. That said I chose a black polish to show you anyway. :) Bat My Eyes looked so cool in the bottle, yet I needed a few weeks to be in the right mood (and in the right outfit :D) to use it. But I’m glad we didn’t rush things, because this why we met at the perfect moment. :)

The base is a dark black packed with gold glitters and some bronze strands. Basically I’m not easily impressed by the usual gold and black combination, but in this one the different elements form such a rounded whole, that it’s impossible not to look at them as one.

It covers perfectly with two coats and is surprisingly unproblematic to apply, because the glitters are easily tamed, they go whereever I want them to go. You don’t need to be afraid that some part of your nails will remain black, while other parts are overflown by glitters, because they move together.

I’ll bring later on a comparison from this collectin too, we’ll see how similar (or not) Howl You Doin’ and Orly Fowl Play are. And I’ll try not to buy Fang-tastic, because I don’t need any more glitter top coats, no I dooooooooooooon’t. :D

And now that I’m looking at it, I start to have some feelings for Boo-gie Down too, I can only hope that spring will come veeery very soon and I won’t feel the urge to buy it. :)
