When the firts few pictures of the Catrice Luxury Lacquers nail polishes flooded the internet, I paid only a little attention to them, because we knew that they’re not going to be available in Hungary.
When – despite of what we heard – they appeared on the shelves anyway, I still wasn’t interested enough to chase them down, I decided to save up for piCtore pOlishe. :D Finally I did glance at them and these two beauties got me (or I got them – depending on the point of view :D). I felt that they would look so imcredible next to each other, and boy I was right:
They got so creative names once again! Sandhopper for the sand and Holo In One for the holo. Catrice is simply unbeatable in that area. And they’ere soooo beautiful! The holo one is a dream too, but the sand won me absolutely over with its gold shimmer and its fantastic base colour. *_*
I won’t and couldn’t complain about their quality either: they’re easy to apply and have a very good consistence. Holo In One covers in two coats, Sandhopper however needs a third one too. They dry quickly, the sand one more quickly of course. And I liked a lot that the second coat of the holo doesn’t drag the first one (not like as we saw with Moyra holos).
They’re just so incredibly beautiful!!! *_*
I’ve been trying to do some stamping lately, but it’s quite a struggle for me, although I love love love my new MoYou plates. This one looks almost okay though:
It’s such an amazing thing to stamp over holo polishes, because the pattern looks like it’s floating over the nails. Almost magical. *_* I used the white Essence Stampy polish, I find it quite simple to use. If you have any, ANY tips or tricks concerning stamping, I would appreciate it if you shared them with me. :)
