Kryptonite is one of those polishes that I like a lot, but I can’t use all around the year. I purchased it a long time ago, but even though I stared at is a lot of times in the bottle, I never really felt the urge to wear it……then came november and Christas started to get closer and closer by the day, so of course I was in desperate need to apply some pine green on my nails.
It’s instant Christmas in a bottle. :) It’s like a pine forest sprinkled with snow…..until the holo flakes starts to glow, because then my nails turn into a lit Christmas tree. The tiny flakes in the jelly base give the polish the legendary piCture pOlish depth, it’s like a frozen moment in a snow globe on the nails.
Two coats cover decently, but a third made the manicure even more alive. Application is a dream and it doesn’t stain the nails.
I’m glad that I didn’t try this polish sooner, because then I would have felt about it entirely differently. I’m not talking about its quality of course, but I’m quite sure that I would have found this shade much less interesting (given that PP has a lot of more complexe shades too), but it’s SO perfect fo Christmas, that I can’t even imagine anything better (….although O’Hara seems much more beautiful lately too :)).
