So the time of the year where new A-England polishes launch has finally arrived again. :) I’m pretty sure that people either LOVE the polishes of the brand unconditionally or they just don’t really care for them – I doubt that there’s a middle road. Lately I prefer more complexe polishes on my nails, but Adina’s creations have a special place in my heart, so I’m always very curious about them.
The Tennyson’s Romance collection has 5 shades, they have the usual gorgeous linear holo finish and the amazing AE quality.
King Cophetua is an almost black holo – I mean I was totally sure that it’s black, until I swatched it next to Bridal Veil. Then I realized that King Cophetua is slightly lighter/greyer. (2 coats)
The Beggar Maid
However The Beggar Maid is definitely a grey, and a really gorgeous one with all those tiny blue and gold shimmers in it. (2 coats)
Angel Grace seemed to be very similar to Crown of Thistles in my head, but that it’s a much colder purple. (2 coats)
Shall Be My Queen
I was also mistaken with Shall Be My Queen, I thought that we already have a very similar AE, but as it turned out, it has a very solide place on the AE colour palette. :) (2 coats)
In Robe And Crown
The first moment I saw it, I fell in love with In Robe And Crown, I knew it will be my favourite from this collection. It’s just as magical as was IEUV’s Cabernet Sauvignon – which was since then discontinued unfortunately. They are almost identical, so if you missed the IEUV one, then go, grab this AE, because this shade is breathtaking! *_* (2 coats)
So A-England continues to follow the classical and absolutely trustworthy path they sat years ago – the path that won our hearts again and again. The new shades are perfectly fit for every occasion: they are beautiful and elegant. I would totally buy In Robe And Crown for myself – even though I’m lucky enough to own Cabernet Sauvignon, because this shade is just perfection. And I couldn’t resist Shall Be My Queen either – I just love these brighter reds lately. :)
