I don’t know about you, but lately I’ve been struggling to follow every smaller and bigger brands and all of their collections, every nail polish box, every store exclusive, every Facebook group exclusive, every collab and every initiative.
With all the swatching, blogging, working and living, I feel that I don’t have enough time to follow every nail polish related news. Probably I’ve already missed out on a lot of shades that were supoosed to be meant for me. Like, these two beauties today: if Missi hadn’t sent them to me, then maybe I’d have never noticed them. So yeah, it sucks, we have to stay alert, if we don’t want to miss out on anything. (Btw if you know a blog or a facebook page that posts about nail polish related news, fell free to let me know!)
But since fortunately I did receive Week 6 of the Road to PolishCon series, let’s take a look at what we – who can’t attend the PolishCon – are now able to pre-order.
Great Lakes Lacquer – Blue Skies From Pain
I have to confess: I’ve never heard of Great Lakes Lacquer. And when I first saw this kind of unusual bottle shape and the not-so-badass cap, my snobbish soul had some serious doubts. But after applying Blue Skies From Pain, I was awestruck. *_* It’s one of the most beautiful blue holos I’ve have ever seen. And I know, I know, I’ve already shown you tons of blue holos and I fell in love with almost each and every one of them, but this is different, believe me. This polish is more beautiful than any ILNPs or CbLs I’ve ever laid eyes upon: its metallic sheen makes it glow on the nails, it looks phenomenal. And it has a perfect quality. (2 coats)
Different Dimension – Heaven From Hell
For me Different Dimension is the latest up-and-coming brand with all these amazing new collections of theirs. And Heaven From Hell doesn’t disappoint either. It has a silver holo base with lots of tiny multichrome flakes – and thanks to these flakies, it’s easy to apply and to remove and doesn’t require but one coat of top coat. (2 coats)
I just love both of these, I can’t help it, so I’d say, go for them, they are really really really beautiful polishes. I always love when brands have new opportunities to let their imagination shine and I do think that the Road to PolishCon series in perfect for this. <3
You can pre-order them from Január 15th to 21st HERE.
