Cupcake Polish – Seashell collection

This post is also available in: Magyar

Let’s talk about the new Cupcake Polish collection today, shall we? :) As always it has 6 shades in it, but this time we don’t get the usual linear holos, but their updated version with irridescent glitters. So basically these polishes look exciting both in sunshine and in indirect lights. They all have the exact same finish, the only thing that changes is the base colour: we have orange, silver, pink, purple, blue and teal. I applied all of them in 2 coats with one coat of top coat.

Oh Ship

Mermaid You Look

Well, I guess you can tell by the pictures and by the post itself too, that I’m not really into this collection, right? These shades are just way to light for me right now. I need dark, vampy or super saturated, bright polishes in my life lately. But let’s talk about this again in a couple of weeks, when I’ll be in full on spring mode. I’ll probably beat myself up for this post then. :D

But the undisputable facts are: these polishes have a wonderful holo effect and the glitters look amazing too, they don’t blend and disappera into the base. They’re easy to apply and even to remove, so if you like the colours, then you won’t have to worry about the quality. :)

The collection will be available from February 4th at Cupcake Polish and at stockists.

Ahh, they are so pretty! Especially the teal one, I’m not a fan of purples and pinks. I agree they would look even better if the base colours were darker, so you could see the glitter better.ReplyCancel
