I’m always very excited to talk about new ILNP polishes and I really like the fact that they always launch two collections at the same time. Today let’s take a look at the Summer 2017 collection and some comparions with them. I applied every shade in three coats. Some of them might do in just two on shorter nails, but I needed three to cover my VNLs.
Birthday Suit is a beautiful soft pink crelly with holo flakies.
Here’s Birthday Suit next to Chleo, Elle and Sweet Pea. It’s definitely lighter than Chleo in real life and it has bigger flakies in it.
We have a new Ultra Metallic shade, Daydreamer, a sparkly pink with an insane amount of shine.
And here’s Daydreamer compared to Juliette Madison Ave and Copper Top.
Citrus Punch is hands down my favourite from both collections. *_* It’s a bright coral with gold and pink shine – I have never seen enything like that! I’ve been wearing it twice since I have it, I just can’t get enough of this shade. <3
Wanderlust is a gorgeous and very bright fuchsia.
Here’s Wanderlust next to Velvet Rope and Showtime.
After Party is a blue/violet Ultra Holo that has a crazy amount of sparkle.
It reminded me of Night Light a lot and they do look very similar in the pic. IRL though you can clearly see that Night Light is darker and more on the purple side.
No surprise here, but Beach House is another favourite of mine. It’s another Ultra Holo that has the perfect aqua-blue shade. *_*
It’s bluer than Bermuda Breeze and much more opaque then Harbour Island.
These polishes do look amazing, that’s for sure. I am in love with two of them (Citrus Punch <3, Beach House), I really like two of them (After Party, Daydreamer) and the rest of them are not really my cup of tea only because of their colour (Birthday Suit, Wanderlust).
But to be honest I have a little problem with every shade being a three-coater… I mean I usually don’t mind applying so many coats if a polish looks crazy beautiful, but with ILNP lately all we have is not so opaque shades- to say the least. It’s obviously not an enough reason for me to not love ILNP, but I needed to mention this.
So how do you like them? Any must haves? :)
