New piCture pOlish shades

This post is also available in: Magyar

Yepp, another post for today! :) I can’t even believe that I could finally finish this one! It has been almost ready for the last week or so, but I just couldn’t find the time to the final touches. But now let’s dive into the latest piCture pOlish releases.  This time they launched 6 blogger collaboration shades, yay! :)

Embrace is the new collab shade of the queen of swatches and nail arts, the amazing and sweet Sveta – and there’s even a matching lipstick! The polish is a gorgeous mauve with the beloved PP holo flakies. I already wore Embrace two times, since I got it, because 1) it goes with everything, I can leave it on my nails no matter what and 2) I just LOVE everything Sveta does (Karma – her first collab –  is to this day one of my favourite polishes ever). <3 (2 coats)

Next to Embrace even New York seems to be full on pink:

Tasha was created by Sonia, she was inspired by her little puppy – how cute is that! (2 coats) One day I should make a white polish with copper flakies á la Nachos. :)

This comparison shows us how talented PP is when it comes to lilacs:

Dandelion is very close to my heart since one of my favourite bloggers/instagrammers, Laura, created it. If you need a good cry, go, check how she was inspired by her beloved father. <3 The polish is a beautiful light green – that requires 3 thin coats.

When is comes to comparing new PP shades, Jules and I are always trying to find the best fits from the PP range – but with Dandelion we had a bit of a struggle since it isn’t really similar to anything. So here it is next to Camo – just so you can have an idea:

The mom of Haven, Margaret was inspired by the sand of her favourite beach. This is why the polish is undoubtedly white, but not the crispy, snow white, rather a dirtier, sandier shade. (3 shades)

They are very similar with LakoDom, but definitely not the same:

Clouds is a sky blue scatter holo by Olga. (2 coats)

This time it was easier to find somethig similar:

My absolute favourite of this collecton is Cozy, Lyuda‘s collab. She wanted to create a polish that makes you feel cozy in winter and in summer too. And they did it. Cozy has in it the soft warmth we crave when it’s cold outside and the cold freshness that we need in the heat. It has an ever changing green/mustard yellow shade – you’ll find dozens of swatches of it, that are completely different and still all of them will be true. I can’t stop wearing it, I’m in LOVE. *_* (2 coats)

It doesn’t remind me of any PP shades, so here it is next to Sorbet:

And here we have the 6 new shades again:

So to sum it up: I love Sveta’s new shade unconditionally and the same applies to Laura’s green, Cozy is The Perfect Summer (and probably Winter) Shade for me, I prefer Haven to LakoDom, and I’ve always enjoyed the Tasha kind of lilacs. But somehow I’m not a fan of Clouds, it’s too creme-y for my taste (at this moment – I have to add).

You can buy the new shades at piCture pOlish or at stockists, like Nailland.

So many posts in the last few days! :) Thank you. I really like this collection. My favorite is Dandelion. And the inspiration behind it makes it even more beautiful. Btw I really like your “short” nails *-*ReplyCancel

Yeah. :D I was on a holiday, so I’m trying to catch up. :) Dandelion’s story is so beautiful, it makes the polish even more special. :)
And thank you, I really enjoy when my nails are shorter, life is just so much easier like this. :DReplyCancel
