A-England – Excalibur

So finally we arrived to the last day of Birthday Galore, I saved the (one of the) best for last. :)

A-England - Excalibur

I’ve always adored A-England, but until last week I only had 3 of them: Tristam, Dragon and Princess Sabra, mostly because they were hard to get and their price isn’t optimal either. But now – thanks to Nailland – I’m the lucky owner of Excalibur too.

I have never thought that I would like this polish, but when I saw it for real……. *_* I mean, just look at it:

The minute I could get a hold of it, I knew that we’re going to be very very very good friends. :) And once I applied it, our friendship became love.

This polish is a D-R-E-A-M. I don’t know how on Earth Adina came up with the idea of mixing gold and silver, but it turned out to be extremely beautiful. :)

The base is a silver foil, which is spiced up with tiny gold particles. The general effect is unusual yet harmonic. It covers with 2 coats and is easy to apply.

I would say that this will be the perfect polish for christmas, bit I don’t want to limit its usage for only a certain period of the year. I think that I’ll use it all year round.

A-England is the only indie nail polish brand I have ever tried, but I find their polishes more exclusive than Chanel’s or Dior’s. I can even forgive them that they are exspensive. Actually I wouldn’t even want them to be cheap, because they’re so special. That’s some brainwashing, right? :)

I hope you enjoyed this last week as much as I enjoyed writing the posts. Birthday Galore is now officially over, but it may be back in a year’s time. ;)
