I just love to write about nail polish. To choose the most beautiful colours, to buy them, to apply them, to take pictures, edit them, to describe how wonderful these polishes are (or in some cases how not-so-wonderful they are). It’s the same routine over and over again, yet it doesn’t get boring, because every colour is different (or in some cases not :/ :D). Then sometimes pictures get lost for a few days or weeks, but when I find them again, they remind me how it felt to wear the polish in question.
This is exactly what happened with this Barry M one too. I’ve taken photos of Princess a while back, I edited them, organized them is folders….then forgot about them for a little while. But when I did find them, they brought back in a second the memories about catching a glimpse of this polish for the first time, how it sparkled in the mall lights and how I fell for it in an instant. I remember how happy I was when carrying it home (with a slightly guilty conscience :/), and how impatiently I wanted to try it. And finally, how it felt to apply it to my nails, then just sitting and staring at my manicure for several minutes. *_*
I know, you understand, what I’m talking about. ;)
The Royal Textured Glitter Collection is absolutely amazing in its whole. Majesty is still my dream gold sand polish, Pearl is a sparkly white (possible dupe: Golden Rose Holiday 70), while Countess is a beautiful burgundy polish (possible dupes: Golden Rose Holiday 58 and IsaDora Wine Crush). And finally the last item of the collection is Duchess a george rose gold (possible dupes: Claire’s Pastel Pink and Rimmel Aurora).
I used two thicker coats, it’s easy to apply and dries quickly.
The gold glitters turn this soft pink such a wonderful amazeball, I can’t take my eyes off of it. *_*
The whole collection is so gorgeous, that I’m seriously considering buying all 5 polish just to be able to place them next to each other on my vanity. :D
