If there’s something I didn’t want to buy from the new Catrice sortiment, then it is this particular polish. However I did know that I have to get Berry Potter & Plumbledore for two of my most harrypotterfan friends. Fortunately, one of them was so nice to offer (okay, okay, to accept) that I try and show this strange purple on the blog first, before I hand it over to her.
Strange, because it has a bluish green irridescence in it, which is quite unusual. I personally don’t really like these kind of shades, but even I have to admit, that it looks surprisingly fine once applied. I almost understand now, why people love this colour.
It covers beautifully with two coats, is very easy to apply, has a jelly-like finish and glides on the nails like a dream. The brush us a little bit uneven and weird, but this one has a shape just like my nailbeds, so it was very handy for me. Although it can be very uncomfortable for others for the very same reason.
I have to admit that it has a very special and unique shade, but I didn’t really fall for it. However, compared to the other new shades of the brand, Berry Potter & Plumbledore is still the most exciting of all of them. Catrice didn’t really make an effort when creating their new shades, I fear. :/
