I rarely feel when I see someone else’s nails, that ah, I need that polish, because most of the times I just can’t picture them on my nails (I got half of my nail polish stash because of this inability). But when I saw Petra’s nails the other time while having some coffee, I couldn’t take my eyes of off them. They sparkled so beautifully that I needed to know what it was. And she told me the recipe: Essie Borrowed & Blue + Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 102.
Fortunately I’ve had Borrowed&Blue since the proposal, so I only had to run and get the Golden Rose one immediately. After that, I could start layering them up……and finding one of my favourites combinations ever. This silvery and goldy Golden Rose looks so amazing on this light blue, I could almost cry.
I’m afraid the pictures don’t do them justice, they are so much more stunning in reality. :/
This top coat is the jewel of the Jolly Jewels collection, and still I have never noticed it before. o_O
It’s really like jewellery on my nails:
I thought that it would look good only atop a light blue, but I already tried it over light purple and that was gorgeous too. Interestingly I would never use it with some darker colours, I don’t really know why… :/
Next time I’ll paint it over white, that will be nice too. :)
