I’m always so excited when it comes to new Colors by Llarowe collections! They create so gorgeous polishes, my heart almost can’t handle it. The Winter 2015 collection is just as beautiful, if not even more beautiful, as I expected. <3 We have 12 perfect shades to choose from….I’ll be honest, you’re all about to do some tough choices, Ladies, because these ones are all breathtaking.
I shot most of them them with LED and spot lights too and there are some compariosons here and there with some older CbL shades too.
Let’s start with one of my favourites, Breathless. *_* It was love at first sight, the minute I saw it: it has a deep burgundy base with red-orange-pink-gold shimmers. It’s unbelievably beautiful, shines like a Disney fireplace. *_* (2 coats)
You can never have too many teal polishes, can you? :) Peacock Parade is yet another gorgeous teal that covers evenly with one single coat. I’ve been wearing it twice since I got it, and that’s something that barely happens. And good news: it doesn’t stain at all.
From left to right: Peacock Parade, Bad Billy Pratt, Peacock Parade, Lake of the Pines. All f these polishes are a tad greener than on the photos though. (Somehow I couldn’t fint the right settings for this image. o_O)
Berries In The Snow
I think Berries in the Snow was the first I saw on other bloggers’s nails and I was immediately lost. *_* I LOVE these deep burgundy-purple shades, mostly at winter time of course. It covers with one single coat, but it can stain the nails, so be sure to wear your base coat.
L-R: Berries in the Snow, She’s My Cherry Pie.
I know, I was surprised too, but I was literally screaming when I first saw Santa Baby. Red is just not really my kind of thing….I mean when it’s a cream or a jelly, but when it comes to holos and microglitters though…*_* I think that even its name is hilarious and the shade, the shade is simply perfection. *_* (2 coats)
L-R: Santa Baby, Little Miss Independent.
Tree Of Lights
Put a Christmas tree in a bottle and you have Tree of Lights. It’s so beautiful and sparkly, I can’t even imagine a more gorgeous green than this one. <3 (2 coats)
‘shroom With A View
As we’ve been talking about it since this fall: brown is a-back! And to follow that path, no we have ‘shroom With a View which is rather on the taupe side. It’s such an original and unique shade, so elegant and edgy. <3 (2 coats)
L-R: ‘shroom With a View, Mocha Grande.
Plum Perfect is so bright, it’s almost a neon, almost too much for winter….almost. :) I think that a purple this intense rhymes perfectly with Christmas festivities. I almost can’t belive that it looks like that, good thing I checked on other blogs too. :):) (2 coats)
L-R: Plum Perfect, What’s Your Dream?
Hot Buttered Rum
Leah Ann and her team has been thinking about those of you who prefer more office friendly nails, so here we have the nude of the collection, Hot Buttered Rum. However it’s very light, it still covers in two coats. :)
L-R: Hot Buttered Rum, Joanna, Hot Buttered Rum and Blonde Ambition.
Fairy Dust will be a big favourite for a lot of you, I’m sure. :) What more can we ask for in winter than a sparkly off-white with tons of microglitters? *_* It does need three coats for full coverage, but honestly…who cares? :):) <3
L-R: Fairy Dust, I Am Free
Ice Ice Baby
There are no real collections without a blue polish, so luckily here we have Ice Ice Baby. It’s the perfect winter blue, or as a blogger friend of mine said, the perfect Frozen blue. :) (2 coats)
L-R: Ice Ice Baby, Rain.
If You Dare
I almost started to type that CbL is very strong when it comes to fuchsia…but then I realized that I could write any colour name in that sentence. They just can’t go wrong I guess. :) And If You Dare is almost painfully beautiful too, it vibrates like crazy. (2 coats)
Since I can’t seem to find my Rare Orchid anywhere, we have now L-R: If You Dare, 976-Babe, If You Dare and You’ve Been Served.
Jewel Of Denial
Well, well, another teal, shall we? :) Not that I’m complainaing, if it were up to me, there would be even more teals in this colleciton. :):) Jewel of Denial is much lighter than Peacock Parade and this one does stain your nails if you forget to wear a base coat, otherwise you’ll be fine and happy with it. :) (2 coats)
L-R: Jewel of Denial, Believe In Miracles, Jewel of Denial and Mean Dean Profitt.
Wow. This collection is unbelievable. *_* 12 breathtakingly gorgeous shades, all of them are simply perfect – and I’m not even exagerating. :)
They’re available for pre-order from 23th November (at Llarowe, and I’m guessing at Nailland and Hypnotic Polish too – actually Hypnotic seems to have them already!), so you still have some time to make up your mind, save up, sell everything you have and buy a reasonable part of this collection (in this case reasonable scales between 1 and 12. :):)) So which ones are your favourites? :)
