I love indie nail polish brands. I love them a lot and I love a lot of them. No matter if they’re smaller or bigger brands: if they have beautiful and/or interesting shades and a nice maker, then I’m sold. And it’s so good to see our favourites thrive and become more and more popular…..and in the case of ILNP: more and more professional. Barbra and her team are simply amazing. They create polishes that have a perfect quality, they have a super nice selection of colors, they have so many interesting finishes, a sleek design and an amazing costumer service. They simply never fail us.
This is why my love for ILNP knows no boundaries and why I’m super crazy excited every time they release new collections. This time they will release two of them, the Winter 2016 and the New Year’s 2016 collection, each with 6 new shades. Let’s see the Winter 2016 polishes today.
Cabin Fever is a darker, slightly orange-y brown that has a metallic base and holo flakies in it. The perfect warm shade to wear while sipping on some hot chocolate. (2 coats)
Victoria is a gorgeous greyish brown Ultra Holo – which is one of my all time favourite ILNP finishes. It glows even though it’s such a desaturated shade. *_* I applied 3 coats, but my nails are suuuper long in these pics, so there’s a good chance, you can get away with two, if your nails are shorter.
Varsity Jacket is yet another ultra holo, this one is a darker grey/almost black. Since it’s darker, than Victoria, I only needed two coats.
Fir Coat is a dark teal leaning grean with holo flakies that appear to be multichrome. *_* It was quite sheer with the first coat, so I needed three in the end.
Looking Up has a very dark base filled with blue shimmer, scatter holo flakes and bigger, gold flakes. It’s so deep and wonderful, perfect for winter! *_* (2 coats)
ILNP has very few reds, so something like Stopping Traffic was very needed. It’s the perfect Christmas red with gorgeous holo flakes. (2 coats)
See? This is what I was talking about in the super cheesy introduction: such an amazing array of colours! They are beautiful and super exciting with great quality. My favourites are Looking Up and Fir Coat – but it wasn’t an easy decision at all. :):)
